I have been involved with EMS since 2006. After high school I attended EMT school at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa, becoming an EMT in 2007. I decided to make EMS a full time career in 2007 and started the Paramedic program at Iowa Central Community College in Ft. Dodge and became a Paramedic in May of 2010. I obtained my Critical Care endorsement in 2012. I'm also a BLS and PHTLS instructor and teach classes on a regular basis. I currently work as a paramedic full time in Algona and help Clear Lake Fire on a part time basis. Some of my hobbies are hanging out with friends, spending time at the gun range, playing hockey and attending Iowa Wild hockey games and dancing West Coast Swing.
