I have been in EMS for many years starting as a driver for a BLS service in Titonka, Iowa. In 2001 I took the EMT class and was an EMT for 14 years. After working in the banking industry for 15 years I decided it was time for a change and wanted to do EMS full time. I began the Paramedic program at Iowa Central Community College in Ft. Dodge in August of 2013 and graduated in May of 2015. I live in Algona and work full-time as a Paramedic for Algona EMS. I have been married to my husband, Ryan, for 20 years and have 3 children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies and attending Iowa Wild hockey games. My faith is also a big part of my life and am plugged in to several areas of my church.
